Learn to Skate
Currently, Falcons have teams at the 10U and 12U levels in the Carolinas Hockey League (CHL). Our program is sanctioned by USA Hockey and the Carolina Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA). The travel season runs primarily from September through February, though some practices, camps and events occur in the off season. Beginner skating classes for toddlers, children, teens and adults.
Public Skating
Charlotte Douglas International Airport is 16 miles and uptown Charlotte is 14 from our rink. An Unaccompanied Minor is any customer under age 18 that is not accompanied by a parent or guardian. For the safety and enjoyment of all our customers, Unaccompanied Minors are subject to additional rules and restrictions.
First Aid & Medical Care
Meals, appetizers, beer, wine, soda, sports drinks and hot beverages. Bar TVs tuned to college and professional sports. Fiber connectivity for hockey broadcasts and live streaming. Games, tournaments and other events are streamed the on the Pineville Ice House LiveBarn platform. A subscription is required to watch content. Annual Red White & Blue 4 on 4 tournament.

Our fire alarm system includes monitors to detect noxious gases, and an alarm will sound if harmful levels are detected. Other rink maintenance equipment, including our scissor lift, forklift and ice edger, are also electric. Our facility is equipped with a defibrillator and basic first aid supplies. We offer no guarantees regarding the quality or timeliness of medical care at our rink.

Beginner skating for teens and adults interested in hockey, figure skating or just skating for fun. The Early Spring session will be 8 sessions. $15 discount when you register before February 23. We use an Olympia IceBear electric ice resurfacer which generates no Carbon Monoxide emissions. Our Munters dehumidifier includes a fresh air intake and runs continuously to circulate air in the rink.

Really nice staff, have been coming here for years. I love to come with siblings or with friends, and it's always a great time. Lots of people are here regularly, so be prepared for that. But otherwise, the price is great for what you get!
Memberships run annually July 1-June 30. USA Hockey endorses our Hockey Learn To Skate class. Weekly day camp focused on skating and ice sports.
